Hirvepark (meaning "Deer Park") is a picturesque and historically significant park located at the foot of Toompea Hill in central Tallinn. Established in 1865 on the site of a former defensive moat, it became a dendrological garden cultivating exotic plants. The park is renowned for its diverse tree species, with over 100 varieties of trees and shrubs. In 1987, Hirvepark was the site of the first open demonstration against Soviet occupation, playing a pivotal role in Estonia's path to restored independence.
