The Danish King's Garden (Taani kuninga aed) is a picturesque historic park located in the heart of Tallinn, at the foot of Toompea Hill. According to legend, it was here in 1219 during the Battle of Lyndanisse that the Danish flag Dannebrog descended from the sky, inspiring King Valdemar II's troops to victory. Today, the garden features sculptures of three monks and serves as a popular spot for walks and relaxation.
